GATHERING THE GOOD THINGS

When my son was younger, we ended every dinner by sharing three good things from the day. Now that he’s grown and often away, we don’t do it as consistently—but the tradition still comes to mind every holiday season. As we head into this week of gathering with friends and family, I’m hoping we’ll all find a moment to pause and celebrate the bright spots. I’ll certainly count each of you among mine.

For those celebrating Thanksgiving, I hope your day is filled with warmth, good food, and even better company. And for everyone—near and far—I’m sending gratitude and appreciation your way.

market moments and community connections

I participated in the Athens Academy Holiday Market for the first time and loved connecting with the Athens community. I was even interviewed by the University of Georgia’s Red & Black publication!

From there, I wrapped up the weekend by teaching a Gel Print Workshop at Menagerie on Main in Canton. The group brought so much energy and creativity to the table. We’re already planning another session in December, this time diving into how to turn gel prints into collage elements. If you’re local, I’d love to have you join us.

STUDIO HAPPENINGS & PATREON

On Patreon, I hosted a live studio session while working on pieces for the upcoming Square Foot Show in December. These lives have quickly become a favorite part of my month. Grab your free trial here!

This month, I’m honored to be December’s guest artist for The Ugly Art Club—this month’s theme was “sprinkles,” and my lesson is now live!

I’ve also joined Ranger Ink’s design team and will be sharing monthly projects on their YouTube channel. You can catch up on the latest videos there.

NEW EXHIBITS AND EVENTS

I recently delivered two new pieces to the Suwanee Arts Center for their Small Works Exhibit, on display through January 6. And if you’re near Atlanta, I’ll be at the Piedmont Park Holiday Art Market this Saturday and Sunday (11/29–11/30). It’s my last in-person event of the year and the final chance to shop my current collection before 2026.

Thank you for being here, for supporting my work, and for sharing in the joy of creating. Wishing you a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving—and many “good things” in the days ahead.
