How to Create Beautiful Mixed Media Morning Glory Tags

This month in my mixed media membership on Patreon, we are painting delightful morning glories. These blooms represent September’s birth flower. We will work on a 4×6″ unfinished wood panel, though you can also use heavy paper.

Morning glories symbolize affection and new beginnings. Their soft, flowing shapes offer wonderful floral inspiration. You will love exploring rich textured layers, expressive brushstrokes, and vibrant colors.

During the lessons, you will choose an underpainting color and build floral shapes with collage layers. Then, you will use negative painting to define your focal point.
